SPLENDID KUTCH

The Rann of Kutch covers around 26,000 square kilometers (10,000 square miles). The Great Rann of Kutch is the larger portion of the Rann. It extends east and west, with the Thar Desert to the north and the low hills of Kutch to the south. The Little Rann of Kutch lies southeast of the Great Rann, and extends southwards to the Gulf of Kutch, where mostly ports and cities such as Mandvi, Mundra, etc were established by the trading communities of Kutch. Mandvi is known for its handmade cargo ship building, Vijay Vilas Palace, and one of the beautiful beaches.

 

Many rivers originating in Rajasthan and Gujarat flow into the Rann of Kutch. Kori Creek and Sir Creek, tidal creeks which are part of the Indus River Delta, are located at the western end of the Great Rann.

 

The surface is generally flat and very close to sea level and most of the Rann floods annually during the monsoon season also attracting during sunset and reflection of the sun on the still water surface on Rann of Kutch. There are areas of sandy higher ground, known as bets, which lie two to three meters above flood level. Trees and shrubs grow on the edge of the surface, and they provide shelters for wildlife during the annual floods.

STUNNING MANDVI BEACH AT KUTCH GUJARAT

The Mandvi Beach is located in the city of Mandvi, and is in Kachchh district at Gujarat. The city Mandvi is also famous for the shipbuilding industry near the RukmavatiRiver. This city is about 450 km away from Ahmedabad and only about 55 km away from Bhuj.

 

Thousand People visit the beach to enjoy the various amenities like Water sports, water boat, ATV rides, Beach Games, Horse and Camel Rides, etc.

 

The Vijay Vilas Palace known as a summer place ofMaharao (State Ruler) of Kutch, which is closer to sea-beach of Mandvi. The architecture of the place is Indo-Gothic style, mostly red stand stones used, and carved Jalis, Coloured window glasses, domed bastion at the corners, and many stone carved elements can be found at the Palace.

 

The Mandvi has also a private beach close to the Royal Palace of Kutch princely state. The Palace Beach Camp is good option to stay in to AC Swiss Tents and Cottages closer to private beach.

  2. Rates are based on Hotels Subject to availability at the time of making Reservation. In case of unavailability in hotels, alternate accommodation will be arranged in a similar category hotel.

  4. Early Check in/ late checks out is subject to availability of rooms.
  5. Cancellation charges would be as per the company policy
  6. Vehicle confirmed will be as per Itinerary and not at disposal. AC will work only in the plains and will be switched off during hill drives.
  7. All sightseeing mentioned are subject to weather conditions, political conditions & traffic conditions in the destination
  8. Any sightseeing missed due to natural calamities/ weather conditions is non-refundable
  9. All entrances fees will be on direct payment basis as per Itinerary

PAYMENT POLICY:

  1. Deposited of 50% of the package cost at the time of booking.
  2. Need 100% payment of the package cost, 30 days prior to departure date.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  1. 25% of full tour cost – 30 days prior to arrival
  2. 50% of full tour cost – between 15 & 29 days prior to tour
  3. 100% of full tour cost – between 14 & 7 days prior to tour
